Shipping Policy

At On-Site Containers Solutions, we specialize in the transportation and delivery of heavy-duty shipping containers. Due to the size and weight of our products, our shipping procedures differ from standard parcel services. Please review the guidelines below to ensure a smooth and successful delivery experience.

Shipping Policy Overview
Service Area: We currently deliver within the United States.
Handling Time: 1–2 business days (Preparation and inspection).
Transit Time: 7–10 business days (Depending on distance and driver availability).
Shipping Rates: Free shipping.

1. Delivery Methods
We use specialized equipment to ensure safe and efficient delivery:
Tilt-Bed Delivery: The trailer tilts backward, allowing the container to slide off the rear. This is the most commonly used method.
Flatbed Delivery: Requires the customer to have a crane or forklift available on-site to unload the container from the truck.

2. Site Preparation & Requirements
Customers are responsible for preparing the delivery location. Please ensure the following:
Space: A 20ft container requires approximately 60 feet of straight-line clearance. A 40ft container requires 100–120 feet.
Surface: The ground must be level, dry, and firm (such as concrete, gravel, or compacted dirt). On-Site Containers Solutions is not responsible for trucks getting stuck on soft surfaces like grass or mud.
Obstructions: Ensure there are no low-hanging wires, tree branches, or narrow entryways blocking access.

3. Inspection Upon Delivery
You must be present during delivery. Before the driver departs, you are required to inspect the container for:
Structural condition and proper door operation.
Any discrepancies between the ordered grade and the delivered unit.
Any new damage that may have occurred during transit.
Note: Any issues must be documented on the Bill of Lading (BOL) before the driver leaves.

4. Delivery Scheduling
After your order is processed, our logistics team will contact you to arrange a delivery window. While we aim to meet all scheduled timeframes, delivery dates may be affected by weather conditions, traffic, or driver availability.

5. Failed Delivery Attempts
If delivery cannot be completed due to site unpreparedness, insufficient space, or the customer not being present at the scheduled time, a re-delivery fee will apply. This fee is determined based on distance and driver time.

6. Change of Delivery Address
Any changes to the delivery address must be submitted at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled delivery date. Requests made after this period may incur additional logistics fees.
